We are grapplers who are sometimes guilty of spending more time on the web than on the mats. We search the web day and night looking for what’s happening online related to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission grappling. We find things like videos, blogs, product reviews, pictures, interviews, and tournament results. We’re particularly interested in stories where BJJ breaks into mainstream news.
We don’t create content here, so we’re not trying to take credit for anything you see. We always try to link directly to the source, or as close as possible, and give credit to the creators of content.
We are constantly aggregating every mention of BJJ we can find online into a giant list – every video, every forum thread, every tweet, every social media post. Then we curate that list and publish links to the best bits here. This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of every mention of BJJ on the web. Trust us, that’s a vast wasteland. We try to distill just the most interesting, entertaining, informative, and educational links.
We may stray occasionally if we find something funny or something we think other grapplers might appreciate, but for the most part we try to link to things that are current, interesting, and about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. If we happen to cross over into the MMA world it will be because there’s a grappling angle to the story.
A note on walled gardens: We see these as fads (think AOL, MySpace) that eventually die. Open is better, and open will win. We don’t post links to content that users can’t see without creating an account, paying, or going through a squeeze page.
